Members of our local Tiffany Circle attended the 7th Annual Tiffany Circle Society of Women Leaders Summit from May 17-18 in Washington, D.C. Lee Rhodes, founder of Seattle-based company glassybaby, attended the summit as a keynote speaker. A longtime supporter of the local American Red Cross, Lee was so impressed with the Tiffany Circle that she joined our local women leaders. Welcome!

On Tuesday, April 30, members of the local Tiffany Circle gathered at the Seattle Tennis Club to learn about preparedness with the American Red Cross. They learned how to take action to prepare homes, workplaces and communities for the “The Big Earthquake.”
As supporters of the Red Cross they know it’s important to prepare for when the next disaster strikes. By learning about local disasters, preparedness kits, home hazards and post-disaster communication needs, these Tiffany Circle members took a step toward preparedness.
Thank you to the Seattle Tennis Club for hosting us!

For more than a century, the Red Cross has been a community leader in emergency preparedness and response. Our Annual Heroes Breakfast honors that longstanding tradition of heroism by recognizing local individuals whose extraordinary acts of courage or kindness make them a hero.
This year, 17 individuals were honored for lifesaving acts, preparedness measures and other efforts in our community. Thank you to all of the heroes, table captains, sponsors and attendees. A special thank you to this year’s Award Sponsors: Costco, Puget Sound Energy, Overlake Hospital Medical Center, Safeco Insurance, PEMCO Insurance, The Boeing Company, Coinstar and Diane and Rebecca Radloff of the Red Cross Tiffany Circle. As always, we couldn’t have done it without you! What a wonderful event.
On January 31, the Canadian Red Cross launched the Tiffany Circle of British Columbia with a special event in Vancouver. The Tiffany Circle is a society of women leaders and philanthropists committed to supporting their local Red Cross chapter.
Diane Radloff, co-chair of the Seattle Tiffany Circle and Elana Western, Major Gifts Officer, joined the official launch event, which featured an inspiring talk by Mrs. Laureen Harper, Honorary Tiffany Circle Chair in Canada. As wife of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Laureen has had the opportunity to witness first-hand the work of the Red Cross.
